Still Waters Ministry Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Women’s Recovery Program
Women across the Florida Panhandle who are seeking freedom from addiction, homelessness, depression, or abuse now have a new place to begin again.
Still Waters Ministry, the women’s recovery program affiliated with Chrome Ministries, recently celebrated the grand opening of its Marianna campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new space will serve as a Christ-centered residential recovery program where women can work toward lasting transformation and a life free from drugs and alcohol.
Modeled after Chrome’s long-standing men’s recovery program, Still Waters is built around the same foundational mission known as the Four R’s: Rescue, Recovery, Re-Engagement, and Reunification.
“If you had told me eight years ago that the Lord could do all of this with one simple yes, I wouldn’t have believed it,” shared one ministry leader. “To anyone out there who needs help — don’t miss what God can do with your yes.”
A Ministry That Impacts More Than One Life
Still Waters exists not only to help women heal, but to restore families and break cycles that affect generations.
“When you help a man or a woman, you’re not just helping them,” another leader shared. “You’re helping their families and their children. I truly believe I have the best job in the world.”
At the heart of the program is a belief that real change happens through love, forgiveness, and faith.
“Through forgiveness — through receiving forgiveness — this is how life begins to change,” shared one overseer. “Lives don’t change without love.”
An Extension of the Chrome Mission
Still Waters is a natural extension of Chrome Ministries, which has spent years walking alongside men in recovery and restoration. What began as a men’s ministry has grown into a broader vision: creating spaces where both men and women can experience healing, structure, accountability, and renewed purpose through Christ.
The opening of Still Waters marks a significant step forward in that mission.
